Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam
The Temple is regarded as one of the important temples of the town as it is home to one of the twelve
Jyotirlingas in India and is located on the southern bank of Krishna River. It was founded six
centuries ago by King Harihara Raya of Vijayanagar. The temple is resplendent with Vijaynagar
architectural manner.
Srisailam Dam in Srisailam
One of the twelve largest hydroelectric power projects in the country, Srisailam Dam is one of the
supreme attractions of the town, located on the bank of River Krishna and is seated in a deep valley.
It includes 12 crest gates and an elevation of 300 m.
Srisailam Sanctuary in Srisailam
An astonishing scenic charm, Srisailam Sanctuary is enclosed by dry deciduous forests that
comprises of scrubs and bamboo trees. It is one of the largest Tiger Reserves in the country and is a
home to different varieties of animals like palm civet, jungle cat, leopard, deer, sloth bear, tiger,
bonnet macaque, hyena and pangolin.
Bhramaramba Devi Temple in Srisailam
Nestled on the Nallamala hills on the southern bank of River Krishna, this temple is devoted to Lord
Mallikarjuna, Goddess Parvati or Devi Bhramaramba. It is one of the most famous temples in the town
and is denoted as Sri Parvata in the great epic Mahabharata.
Hemareddy Mallamma Temple in Srisailam
A religious temple for Hindus, the temple was constructed in the year 2010 by Karnataka Veerashaiva
Reddy Samaj. The Temple is situated on the western edge of the Mallikarjuna Temple and is
thronged by a large number of devotees every year.
Sakshi Ganapati Temple in Srisailam
Situated in Srisailam, Sakshi Ganapati Temple is a perfect tourist destination to visit and is
surrounded by abundant natural beauty. The temple is devoted to Lord Ganapati and a black statue of
