- Coordinate all administration activities, obtain regular feedback from all levels on services provided and take corrective actions, where required. - Ensure
compliance to various laws and regulations and providing necessary troubleshooting support to the plants and sectors for smooth operations.

Policies and Procedures


- Formulate and communicate administrative policies and review them periodically to ensure that they meet the changing
requirements of the users and ease operations
- Coordinate all administration related activities in the organisation; ensures that administration services e.g. telephones, fax, travel &
hotel arrangements, housekeeping, AMCs, security, canteen, guest house, car lease rental arrangements, courier/dispatch, etc. are
managed effectively for the entire organisation
- Ensure appropriate handling of all administration related complaints
- Maintain company’s real estate and office infrastructure including renovation, updated lease agreements of company premises, etc.
- Manage all logistics, facilities/equipment for corporate events

Prepare administrative budget


- Prepare and manage the Administration budget; constantly look for ideas/actions to reduce administration costs and implement the
same
- Identify vendors, negotiate and finalise vendors and contracts for purchase of administration related items (capex and revenue)

Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to contract labour employed for administration services
- Co ordinate with Legal and ensure compliance to statutory requirement under various Acts (E.g. Customs, Central Exercise, Foreign
Trade Services Act) and timely accrual of various benefits by coordinating with relevant government agencies
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations in the above mentioned acts and communicate the same to the respective plants / sectors

Government Liaison
-Liaise with senior functionaries of the state government and civil authorities like State Industrial Development Corporation, Energy
Board, Department of Industries etc., lawyers and key public sector service providers to build a positive company image
- Provide troubleshooting support for certain critical areas concerned with smooth running of the operations of the plants (e.g.
industrial accidents, labour relations)

Ensure adherence to budget for the year for all civil and admin related projects and activities

Property Management
- Participate in feasibility studies to identify suitable plant locations for future expansions
- Negotiate with landowners for acquisition/lease of suitable land
- Obtains necessary government approvals for commissioning the plant

Perform the role of a people manager for the team


- Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure
clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility
- Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc
- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution, manage
efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets

Co ordinate with Corporate Finance, Corporate Legal for smooth functioning by:
