This is to be done in conjun-
ction with the test firing of
the Nike Hercules f\"hich
are to take place.
Only the. homesteads which \-rill
lie directly beneath the ;:JrOIJOS-
ed course of the missiles are ef-
fected.
Captain Lamay, ltho resides at
mi lc 17 in Chugiak said t:1at
this evacuation is to be at the
expense of military and in
military vehicles. This is to
include all, members of th,e faro-
lies as '"ell as pets and live-
stock. The. evacuees are to be
housed in the guest house at
Ft. Richar.dson and all their
needs during the time they are
there \till be provided b:, the
army.
The first firing \till ta!ce
place on Honday, November 21st
at 1:30 pm. The families lrill
be taken to Ft. .:Uchhrclson on
morning and returned to
their on Tuesday.
Cpatain Lamay said that this
is merely a precautionary mens-
ure, and no difficulties are
really anticipated.
The homesteaders involved
live on the south fork and the
north bank of the river. The
firing is to be up t:1e river,
away from the iridge.
Captain Lamay has imi ted any
one interested in vei\-riot;. the
tests to Ji't. Richardson, uhere
"ring-side seats" l'lill be :;:>r6-
vided. He said that ueather
permitting, the entire sequen-
ce should be visible, up to the

case a drone airplane.
