This trek takes us through a

beautiful lake 'deoriatal' located
three kilometers uphill from
village Sari and Tungnath which
is the highest Hindu shrine
dedicated to Lord Shiva, to the
ChandrashilaSummit(4090Mts).
According to one of the popular
legends, Chandrashila is the
place where lord Rama
meditated after defeating the
demonkingRavana.

DaybyDaySchedule
Day1:DelhitoUkhimath
Board morning Dehradun Shatabdi Express for Haridwar at 6:55 AM from New Delhi Railway
Station. Reach Haridwar by 11:25 AM. Lunch en route. We will try to reach Ukhimath (1311
Mts/67Hrs),overnightinguesthouse.

Day2:UkhimathtoDeoriatal
Thiswillbeourfirsttrekkingday,a
short 34 hrs trek will take us
through dense forest and small
hamlets, to a beautiful lake
deoriatal. We can see snow clad
mountains all around, of these
most prominent one is
Chaukhamba (6854 Mts). Its a
wonderful sight and reflection of
this massif can be seen in the lake.

Day3:DeoriatalChopta
Today we will trek down to Sari
Village and drive to Chopta (2650
Mts/1 Hr). Chopta is known as the
Switzerlandof India. A relaxed day
overall, we will spend the day
sightseeing in Chopta. Overnight
inaguesthouse.

Day4:ChoptaTungnath
ChandrashilaSummitandback
Today will be the most important day
of our tour. After an early breakfast
wewilltakeourpackedlunchandtrek
towards Tungnath (3680 Mts), this 3
KMs trek will take 3 hours. From here
Chandrashila Summit at 4090 Mts is a
steepclimbof1KM.

Day5:ChoptaRishikesh
After breakfast we will drive back to
Rishikesh (6 Hrs). We will attend the
evening Ganga Aarti at Parmarth
Niketan and head back to camp.
Overnightinswisstents.

Day6:RishikeshDelhi
After breakfast at the camp we will
prepare for some River Rafting. We will
drive to rafting point and raft down from
there. We will be negotiating some of the
most amazing Grade IV rapids like Golf
Course, Return to Centre, etc. along with
cliffjumpingandbodysurfing.Afterlunch,
drive to Haridwar (1 Hr) to catch evening
DehradunShatabdiExpressforNewDelhi.
