have the remaining time (roughly 20 minutes) to address the incoming cadets and their families
together.

1530-1625 GMC Paperwork & Family Q&A
Parents and other guests will remain in HPER 114 and will participate in a Q&A session with the Cadre
and POC cadets. There will be a panel of two 300 and two 400 cadets that will answer questions from a
cadet perspective and the cadre will also be present to address questions and concerns. They are Cadets
Bigham, Diamond, Morgan and Nelson. The first portion of this time will be open forum and this is the
format that will prevail while there are enough questions to support it.
Assuming the questions do not continue for the full hour, the following cadets will have short (3-5
minute) presentations on the following topics. These presentations will be collected beforehand and
prepared into a single PowerPoint slide by Cadet Stott to facilitate topic changes.
Cadet Emery Braveheart
Cadet Butler Field Training

Cadet Olsen Honor Guard

Cadet Freeman Arnold Air
Once these Cadets have finished their presentations the remainder of the time will belong to Col
Dubovik so he might address the families of the incoming cadets as he sees fit.
POSSIBLE ALTERATION: If Col Dubovik desires he can have the opportunity to speak before the briefings
rather than after. A commanders call takes precedence. Once he is finished speaking the remaining
time can be spent on the above briefings. They have been arranged in order of importance as they
pertain to cadet family members and not all briefing need to be presented.
NOTE: At 1600 the cadets helping with setup and cooking for the BBQ will leave to attend to their
duties. They are Cadets Baugh, Dean, Donnelly, Hicken, Mielke, and Whiting.
1625-1630
Family members will transit to the MS Building and rejoin with the cadets who will be finishing up their
paperwork.
1630 1640 Tour of the Detachment
Cadets and their families will be divided into 2 groups. The first 10 cadets alphabetically in one group led
by Cadet Jordan will start at the Supply Office. The remaining cadets will go with Cadet
VonNeiderhausern and start their tour at the Warrior Room. They will rotate through the following
areas in this order:
Supply Office
Computer Room
Warrior Room
Open Room & Command Staff
Both groups will finish the tour in the front of the MS Building at the flagpole where the BBQ will be
held.
1640-1700 Mingling and BBQ
Cadet Cruzan will thank everyone for coming and begin the BBQ. This is meant to be a low-key, laid back
situation where the current cadets mingle with the incoming cadets and their families. The menu for the
BBQ will be similar to that of years past including hot dogs and hamburgers.
1700-Cleanup
The cadets listed above for cooking as well as Cadets Cruzan and Stott and any other cadet willing will
remain for cleanup from the event.
