MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 03-2013

CONCURRING THE HEREIN ATTACHED MDRRMC RESOLUTION NO. 04,
SERIES 2012, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MUNICIPAL DISASTER
RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FUND (MDRRMF) WORK AND
FINANCIAL PLAN CY 2013, AMOUNTING TO SIX MILLION, NINE
THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX PESOS AND TWENTY
CENTAVOS (PHP6,009,976.20) UNDER THE 5% CALAMITY FUND.
Proponent/Sponsor: Committee on Finance, Budget & Appropriations
WHEREAS, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
(MDRRMC) of Guinobatan, Albay, has submitted to the Sangguniang
Bayan, through the Committee on Finance, Budget & Appropriations, for
its consideration and concurrence, the above-captioned resolution;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan, through the said Committee, finds that the
MDRRMC has sufficiently complied with the provisions of RA 10121,
when it appropriated the mandatory 5% MDRRMF of the municipality,
as it focuses on disaster mitigation, risk reduction, relief, recovery and
other works and services in connection with the occurrence of a
calamity;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan,
Albay in session assembled, to concur as it hereby concurs MDRRMC
Resolution No. 04, Series 2012, A Resolution Approving the Municipal
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (MDRRMF) Work and
Financial Plan CY 2013, Amounting to Six Million, Nine Thousand, Nine
Hundred Seventy-Six Pesos and Twenty Centavos (Php6,009,976.20)
under the 5% Calamity Fund.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Albay for review and the offices of the
Mayor, Budget, Accountant, Planning and Development, Treasurer,
PSOTF, BAC, Rural Health, MSWD and other offices concerned for their
information and guidance.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that the above-mentioned MDRRMC Resolution
No. 04, Series 2012, is hereto attached and marked as Annex A.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of Councilor Robert M. Baaga and
duly seconded by the members present this 4th day of February, 2013
during their 5th Regular Session.
