Pedagogy
The participants would learn through
an appropriate mix of interactive
discussions, case studies, tutorials,
hands on exercise, take-home group
assignments, excel based modeling,

About IIM Kashipur


The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur is
set up by Ministry of HRD, Government of India
and belongs to elite leagues of IIMs in India.
IIM Kashipur has been set up with the objective
of imparting quality management education
while sensitizing students towards the needs of
the society. IIM Kashipur commenced
operations from July 2011. The institute offers
its flagship two-year Post Graduate Program in
Management (PGPM). The rigorous curriculum

ability to apply that knowledge to real life

Kashipur together with Rudrapur and Pantnagar
(54 kms), a number of reputed industries like
Videocon, Tata Motors, Delta, Britannia, Nestle,
Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Titan, Zandu
Pharma, Dabur, IGL etc. are located in the
Kashipur- Rudrapur-Pantnagar industrial hub.
Kashipur is easily accessible from New Delhi
(220 Kms) through NH24 lane expressway. It
also has connectivity by direct as well as
indirect trains via Moradabad which is 50 kms
away. The nearest airport is at Pantnagar (72
kms). Kashipur has 2 excellent 3-star hotels as
well as a number of holiday resorts which
regularly host Corporate Conferences and
getaways.

Program Director
Prof. Kunal Ganguly

Professor Kunal Ganguly is faculty in the


area of Operations Management and
Quantitative Techniques. He had his
B.Tech in manufacturing engineering from
NIFFT, Ranchi, MBM from IIT Kharagpur
and PhD from IIT Kharagpur. He has more
than six years of experience in industries
like Hindustan Motors Ltd., Global
Information Systems Technology Ltd. and
L&T in various fields of Operation, Quality
Control and Training. For the past nine
years he is associated with academics. He
is presently working as faculty, IIM
Kashipur since last year. He has worked as
faculty with KIIT School of management,
Bhubaneswar and IMT, Ghaziabad for
eight years. He has conducted several
training programs in the area of Operations
Management His areas of interest are
Supply Chain management and Total
Quality management.
