PRESENT SIMPLE

We use the Present Simple for:

-Something that is generally true (f.e.: the sky is blue, dogs bark and cats meow)
-A situation that we think is more or less permanent (f.e.: i work as a teacher, you live in
Argentina)
-Habits or things that we do regularly. We often use adverbs of frequency in this case. (f.e.:
I always read at night, I dont smoke, We have english lessons on fridays).
- we can use this tense to talk about the future. When you are discussing a timetable or a
fixed plan, you can use this tense. (f.e.: School starts at 9 tomorrow, we have a meeting
next monday).
