Job Description:
Supervision, Coordination and review the work of various operating craft and labor
personnel engaged in maintaining, repairing and operating cable machinery and equipment,
including the repair and replacement of wire rope cables, pulleys, winding machinery , grips
and turntables, and the operation of all motive power machinery and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:

Inspect the condition of operating equipment in the cable machinery shop and on the
road by reviewing reports of operating conditions and visual inspection.

Prepare requests for labor, materials and supplies necessary to maintenance and
operations activities.
Approve and log daily time of subordinates.
Respond to emergency breakdown situations and supervise emergency repairs to
machinery and equipment.
Experiences in RF Projects Knowledge In Single mode Fiber as per Network Design.
Fiber Link budget Calculation and Implementation of Nodes as per Network
Manage and handing of operations in RF HFC (Hybrid and coaxial net
Implementation of RF wireless loop for metro Ethernet scheme through out malasia.
Implementation and technical Setup of POP location in different Areas in malasia.
Monitor the RF related head end activities.

RF PART:

Designing, Installation and Testing of Analog Headend Arcitecture.

Maintaining the Quality Control and Monitoring QOS at the HeadEnd(MSO).
Installation and Selection of Modulators, Receivers, Experience in Barco.

Planning, Implementing, and Co ordinate Special Projects including System
Upgrades, Channel Adding and Trapping of the Channels.

OPTICAL PART:

Installation and Handling of Optical Equipment Like Transmitters, Receivers (Nodes)

as well as the Return path Receivers.
Route Verification for laying Fiber/Coaxial.
Preparing of Pre-constructed Area Network Diagrams for HFC Network Using CATV
Visio Application Software.
Material Planning, procurement and processing for the Areas to be upgraded.
Supervising the Sites of Upgrading Areas.

Signal maintenance for the Cable Modems by using return path technique.
