The BBc hippo ident is a fantastic example example of all

of the design features. For instance the composition of the

hippo, formed in a circle like formation. This design feature
is surreal as its unsnarl to see something as unique as
this. The natural blue colour of the crisp water contrasts
well with the punchy red of the iconic bbc logo 1.
The interaction of this ident is an adult male voice, who of
which spoke formally with slight elegance. His voice came
across friendly and conversational which was appealing to
watch and listen to. It made you more engaged on the
visuals.
The tempo of this ident was quite slow but had an element
of speed when it came to the animation and transition.
The bbc logo slowly transitioned in, towards the centre of
the screen.
The time and space of this ident seemed to be in the
daytime as I noticed above the water a shard of light. This
ident was set underwater, which created a calming
atmosphere.
This is information led as there was very little shown on
screen, giving your brain very little to focus on or pay
attention to. Also the hippos are swimming slow. Its almost
like they are swimming in slow motion.
