V. As a learner, I would advice the website creator to have a proper
planning on how he would start to create the content. I notice that the
images used was a little inappropriate for it does not match the supposed
to be content of the website. The placement of the images was not
organized for the text was covered by it. Using the right imagery that
works for your audience gives positive feedback. Overall, it is important to
have a content that is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

MAIN IDEA 1: Has Ninoy’s dream been fulfilled?

 Five years after his death, we remember that once Ninoy Aquino’s dream is about building a new

nation where Filipinos set aside their differences by working as a community and has a patriotic love

for the country.

 As time went by, K.K.K. being the truest motto of the Filipino people which simply means

‘Katipunan’ turned into another meaning “Kanya-kanya’ng katwiran, Kanya-kanya’ng kagustuhan,

Kanya-kanya’ng kabig or worse, Kanya-kanya’ng kurakot”.

 “Bayan muna bago ang sarili” is just an abstract, non-operative ideal owing to the fact that in real life

it was “K.K.K” who was predominant in our culture and serves as our national character.

MAIN IDEA 2: “Kanya-kanyang katwiran, Kanya-kanyang kagustuhan”

 See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. This thought signifies that even if we know there is

something wrong, we chose to turn a blind eye and speak nothing.

 In this case, we can find “talk” a significant matter. Whereas talk can be a great service to a free

nation, talk can be a way for intelligent discussions that involves deep reasoning and critical

thinking. Exchanging information and perception.

 Criticisms meant to help us to become free but for some instances this might lead to self-

destruction, creation of despair especially to the poor who continue to suffer.

MAIN IDEA 3: “Kanya-kanyang kabig, Kanya-kanyang kurakot”

 Ninoy mentioned a term “basket of crabs” also what we called “crab mentality”. Crab mentality

creeps in and destroys competition, to the detriment of the market. And this means disaster,

pulling others down to achieve greater success.

 Corruption is the talk of marketplace. Everyday on the newspaper, national tv and radios.

Remember the time when Chino Roces asked for a renewed moral order in government and

society.

MAIN IDEA 4: “Bayan muna Bago ang sarili”

 The noble intention must be fulfilled like Ninoy’s said. Ninoy’s message for us Filipino is to

change our own practices that we have done not only our practices but our own attitude and

perception in life.

 At the end of the day, we can dream the impossible dream but we must take action and govern

our deeds for a better nation.

virus.

Culture is shared: An event is held where there are performances to be showcase.

Culture is social: The ritual dances feature the river creatures like crabs, shrimp and
fishes.
Culture is transmitted:
Culture is continuous & cumulative: Since 2018 , we have celebrated the Kasubaan
Festival for 4 consecutive years.
Culture is gratifying: For it reminds us to be grateful for all the blessings throughout the
year.
Culture varies from other societies: It varies in a sense that it highlights the abundance of
harvest in the river.
