M.C What is the USP?
What is your idea? The unique selling point is that nowadays you don’t
see a lot of parodies of nu-metal/pop punk. Although
Our idea is to make a late 90s/early 2000s style it has spiked in popularity recently, there’s not a

Our target audience will be teens to young adults, this is because the song What do you need in order

Influence
We have taken inspiration from a lot of late
90s-early 2000s artists, especially
their style. These artists include blink-182,
Korn, The Offspring, Avril Lavigne, Limp
Bizkit, etc.

Also the film mid90s inspired us a lot.

K.F

The original music video copies a

lot of tropes from a lot of music
videos from that time, fish eye
lens, saturation, parodying a lot
of 90s music videos, lots of low
angles.

We will especially be taking

inspiration from the saturation
and camera angles.
M.C Korn - “Blind”
From this music video, we have
taken inspiration from the
performance camera angles and
movements, such as the
handheld/dolly panning shots and
the various shots of them performing
from different angles.

Also, we want to get

similar locations as the
intro to this music
video, for example
a skate park.
A.J

We also took inspiration from

Joji’s music video YUKON
(INTERLUDE)as they use a lot
different camera movements and
angles , for example they use a lot
of crash rooms and quick pans
shots.
Joji likes to use bright
and colourful sets and
designs in his music
videos.

For camera angles, we will be using a lot of
low angle shots as well as some panning shot
with dolly movements and crash rooms for
the music video, we’ll use an aspect ratio of

Locations
Studio: for the performance sections & if we need
to make a set like a bedroom.

Housing estate: the original music video has parts

set in the main characters neighbourhood and we
want to do something similar for our video. This
location was a big part of the original music
video’s lyrics and meaning, being a white
dominated middle class neighbourhood where
the main character is from but he tries to fit in
with the working class.
