OBJECTIVE: To obtain employment at a company that will utilize my skills, knowledge, and
abilities as an experienced Electro-Mechanic.

Position: Electro-Mechanic Technician
Employer: Kelly Services/Intelligent Energy
2955 Redondo Ave
Long Beach, Ca 90806

Duties: Wired electrical sub panels, built a catalyst machine which

developed
Hydrogen to ignite a fuel cell to develop electrical energy. This involved fabri-
Cation of brackets, cutting holes for electrical components, mounting pc boards,
Piping, running pneumatic lines, gas lines: (nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, methane),
fiberglass insulation, running electrical raceways. Received a certification for
Swagelok Tube Fitting Installation and Safety Tube Bending
Mar 11-Jul 9, 2009
Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Employer: Kelly Services/Neutrogena
5755 W. 96th St.
Los Angeles, CA 90045

Duties: Serviced the production department in keeping their lines running

safely and as efficiently as possible. Fillers, cappers bundlers, metal detectors,
cartoners, a wrapper, Hitachi printers, labeling machines. At times, trouble-
shooting was involved, but mostly setting up the machines for different jobs
was the main focus. Of course conveyors were at hand to move their products
from point A to point B. Most motors were driven by VFDs, 480V 3 phase.
Wherever DC motors were utilized, a DC motor controller would be used.
My past experience and background allowed me to learn the equipment quickly
and was on my own fairly soon. I got involved with their cooling towers, their
compounding equipment, agitators, homogenizers, and most of their equipment
utilized the Allen Bradley 5 PLC.
Jul 28-Nov 1, 2008
Position: Maintenance Technician
Employer: Kelly Services/Baxter Bio Science
4501 Colorado Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90039

Duties: Preventative maintenance as well as corrective maintenance

of fractionation equipment. 3 phase motors, pumps, centrifuges,
instrumentation: temp gages, conductivity (ph), cooling towers,
water treatment, valves, cylinders, etc.

Exposed and somewhat applied experience of the plants automatic

process control called a Delta V.system. Within this system is an
actual computer utilizing a graphics monitor through PLCs and all
related afore mentioned equipment for a complete automated system.

Due to the critical sanitation of plasma itself and its bi-products, the
involvement of the FDA is necessary which prompted Baxter to be
fully trained with the FDA’s documentation rigors, from which I, too,
was trained.

Leiner Health Products located in the city of Carson, CA. I was
basically involved in repairing and maintaining pharmaceutical
packaging equipment, such as unscramblers, cappers, fillers, metal
detectors, labelers, conveyors.

Helped on the installation of photo sensors, wiring of PLCs, dc

motors, troubleshooting, and repair. Was required to do a little
welding as well as fabrication. Was involved in preventive
maintenance when required.

Electricians. Prioritized the sequence of work and tasks to be per-
formed; served as trainer and advisor. Involved in the entire main-
tenance program of the finished products operation.
Helped maintain equipment listed below, utilizing preventative and
corrective maintenance. Instrumental in improving machinery and
processes to effect higher efficiency and effectiveness of overall
operation, including fabrication and small design, both mechanical
and electrical, to increase smoother operation of the equipment.

Among the production equipment I serviced and maintained

included: FANUC Robot; fully automated palletizers and packers;
automatic inspection equipment; De-Palletizers, Coders, Labelers,
Strappers, Wrappers, Box-Makers, Box and Bottle Conveyors, and
all other related equipment in the packaging of glass containers.

Experienced with AC and DC Motors, Motor Controllers, Inverters,

PLCs, reading electrical prints, both ladder diagrams and PLC pro-
grams. Also versed in reading pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints
when it became necessary. On occasion, when it was vital to the
operation, welding would be necessary. I developed into a fairly
good welder. However, trouble-shooting and repair of the equip-
ment became my forte.

Tools utilized: VOM, VTVM, Oscilliscope, Amp Probe (digital and

analog), welder (stick), gas cutting rig, power tools, and general
mechanics hand tools. Became fairly knowledgeable with PLCs;
(Allen Bradley, Siemens, T.I., General Electric), as well as PCs,
(Gateway, IBM).
