My name is Enna Acosta, I am 35 years old and I live in Pasto City. I study at
university in administration program, I work with perfumery. I am studying
English; my English is not very good. In my free time, I watch TV.
So, my day begins at six o'clock in the morning, when I get up and I take a
shower, At seven oclock, I wash my hands before going to have my breakfast,
After I walk to the park every day, At nine oclock, I dress and go to the bus
stop.
Every day I have to catch a bus to travel to work. I sell fine fragrances, I have
worked in this business for many years, after that I start my routine work, which
includes many activities. When the work day is finished, I make my way home. I
am alone, after cleaning the house, I watch TV
Learning languages open up a new world. One of the reason why we must learn
English in our daily life is English is important for example to get a new job. All
over the world, speaking English immediately opens up opportunities.
English is the dominant business language and it has become almost a necessity

My name is Yaneth Sierra Batista, I am thirty years old, and I live in Jagua de
Ibirico - Cesar. I study Business Administration and I am a secretary in Police
inspection.
I am a secretary in the police inspection in La Jagua de Ibirico, Cesar. Since I am
the secretary, I always arrive early at office, I have to prepare papers for police
inspector to sign them, and during the day, I have to lead people by complaints,
theft, misplacement of things , assault , etc. then, I prepare monthly reports of
crime in my hometown to check how it increases or decreases.
I consider English a very important tool for facing the globalization that we are
living nowadays, I think that the necessity in learning this language lies in the fact
that it has become the language of business, and if you want to compete in the
market, you need to learn English. The advantages of speaking English are
among others, the possibility of communicating with foreign people and doing
business with other countries different from ours.
