CFO of the Year Awards Dinner

CFO of the Year awards will be presented to financial
professionals for outstanding performance in their roles as
financial stewards of Long Islands corporations, government
and not-for-profit organizations.
This program provides many benefits to the Islands
business community by highlighting the contributions and
accomplishments of the regions financial executives and the
critical role they play in the success of their companies.

Around 50 Awards Dinner

That makes you Around 50. What better reason to
celebrate? Join Long Island Business News born in 1953
as we celebrate the companies and business leaders who are
around 50 and proud of it.

OCTOBER 22

Top 50 Women in Business Awards Dinner

Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury 6-10pm

Launched in 2000, the Top 50 program recognizes the

Islands top women professionals in business, education,
government and the not-for-profit fields for their business
acumen, mentoring and community involvement.
Honorees are selected by a steering committee and receive
a unique crystal memento at an elegant dinner attended by
more than 700 of the Islands top business leaders.
Winners and sponsors are featured in a gala journal and are
featured online.

NOVEMBER 5

Health Care Heroes Awards Breakfast

Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury 8-10am

The event applauds the heroes working in the field of

health care, from volunteers to program chiefs and everyone
in between.
The program begins with nominations from the business
community in such categories as Top Doctor, Top Nurse and
Achievements in Health Care. Awardees will be highlighted
online, in a special section in the newspaper and honored at
the annual awards breakfast.
Sponsors get in front of the large and fast-growing Long
Island health care market the regions biggest employer
as well as key decision makers in related fields such as
banking, accounting and law.

NOVEMBER 12

Long Island Business Hall of Fame

Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury 6-10pm

The CLASS OF 2015 will include over 20 of the most

distinguished leaders in our business community. Induction
into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor for those who
demonstrate a commitment to excellence; past, present and
future. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with
these influential leaders and hear their secrets to success
during this ceremony. Inductees will be selected by a
committee of the top business leaders across Long Island.

NOVEMBER 19

Leadership in Law Awards Dinner

Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury 6:30-10pm

Experience counts. Dedication, hard work, skill, tenacity
and excellence are expected. Compassion is essential.
Created to recognize those individuals whose leadership
within the legal profession and the com community has had
a positive impact on Long Island. Recipients of this award
demonstrate outstanding achievements, involvement in
their profession, support of the community and mentoring.
