Description
There are some curved light blue lines in the upper background. Some white strokes are under
the blue strokes. At the left side of the picture, there is an large green spot. Under the green sport
is a broad vertical brown line. Beside the brown line, there are some green strokes with red lines
at the top of them. To the right of the picture, is a brown diagonal line with four vertical lines
under it. There is a brown curved line on top of a black horizontal line. The black line has red
dots on it. Attached to the curved brown line is a brown circle with a black curve on top. In the
circle is a black dot and a black line. To the top left corner, there is a broad yellow stroke. Across
the top of the picture are thin yellow and orange strokes. To the lower forefront of the picture is a
green horizontal line and below it is a broader brown horizontal line.

Analysis & Interpretation

The three light blue curved lines appear to be mountains in the distance, as they are in the
background. The large green spot with the broad, brown vertical line appears to be a tree, with
green leaves. Most tress have green leaves and the trunk are brown. The four white curved lines
seem to be birds flying before the mountains. The vertical lines with red dots at the top which are
below the tree appear to be flowers. The green horizontal line lays below the tree and flowers

and seems to be grass. The horizontal brown line with the four vertical lines below is seems to be
a wooden bench. The black line with red dots above it seems to be a cover. The brown line with
the brown circle looks like the image of a person. The broad brown horizontal line below the
grass appears to be a cliff side, as there is no grass and the cliffs I have seen have no grass on
them.
The piece seems to be someone laying in a field on a bench. The person seems to be thinking as
there is a thin black line representing the mouth. It is not curved up on down, so the person
appears to just be staring at the scenery. The setting seems to be in the country, as there is a
mountain range and a cliff. It also appears to be late evening, as the colours are across the sky
when the sun is starting to go down.
Judgment & Evaluation
The subject view of the picture is that it appears somewhat real to life. The tree, flowers, person
and birds can be easily identified.
The composition view show a range of elements and principles of design used. There were
different lines, dots and strokes used in the making of the piece.
The content view is a pensive one, as the person's face seems somber. The colours used are not
very vibrant, and as such, the piece seems melancholy
