Welcome to the start of the 2015 to 2016 academic year. We would particularly like to welcome our new
children and families: Amber, Kodey, Maeve, Alfie, Freya, Oliver, James, Nancy, Molly, Zach, Isla, Isabelle,
Niamh, Amber, Kaila, Grace, Alexander, Tristan, Erin, Shay, Max, Simon, Maisy, Maisie, Oscar, Michael,
Thomas, Nesta, Harriet and Freya who have all joined our Reception class.
We would also like to welcome Mr Ford (Year 6 classteacher and Key Stage 2 Leader), and Miss Fray (Year

Annual Curriculum Overviews


As your child has moved into the next year group take time to
look at the curriculum overview located on the school website
www.millviewschool.co.uk curriculum information. You will also
receive a termly overview next week and weekly blogs about
your childs learning.
We are looking forward to the new Contexts for Learning in the
Autumn term and if you have any artefacts, trips, visits,
information you can offer to enhance the Contexts for Learning
please contact your childs class teacher.

Important Information
On Monday 07 September your child will be bringing home various forms which need to be completed,
signed and returned to school by Friday 11 September. Thank you.
1. Pupil Data Form please provide all up to date information about your child
2. Form C - parental consent form for all visits (including residential trips) which take place during the
holidays or a weekend and off-site sporting fixtures outside the school day
3. Home School Agreement to be signed by child, parent and teacher
4. Safeguarding Postcard listing key contacts

Good News
Mr and Mrs McCrimmon became the proud parents of Arthur John Wyn who was born on 01 August
weighing 10lbs! Mrs McCrimmon is hoping to bring Arthur into school soon to meet all the children.
