Masthead

These will be to the side of

the magazine and out of the
way of the main image. The
title of these cover lines will
be the slightly large and
then underneath will be a
description. These tell the
reader what little additions
this issue will include and
what topics it will cover.

Cover
Lines

Masthead is the second most important text on

the magazine so must be presented right at the
top in full view. It takes up the width of the cover
and is the largest font on the cover.

The main image will overlap parts of the masthead in a

stylish way that still leaves the masthead readable and
recognisable to common readers. The main image is the
most important part of the magazine so will take up at
least 2/3 of it.

Subheadings
The subheadings will be the second largest font on the cover and will actually
include typography unlike the masthead. The typography will usually suit the
theme of the magazine depending on what this issue is based around.

Copyrights, Sponsors, and Logos

These are the least important parts of the magazine but still need to be included. So they will be placed out of the
way where they are not taking the attention away from anything else.
