The 3rd District of Laguna consists of 1 city and 5 municipalities. The only city is San Pablo
City Laguna and the 5 municipalities are Alaminos, Calauan, Liliw, Nagcarlan, and Rizal. According
to the 2010 census, it has a population of 476,401 people.

CITY PROFILE
Alaminos, Laguna
Alaminos is a third class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the
2010 census, it has a population of 43,526 people. It has a land area of 21.11 square miles (54.7

km 2 ) and is situated 48.5 miles (78.1 km) southeast of Manila. Located at northeast of Sto.
Tomas in Batangas Province, south of Calauan and Bay, and west of San Pablo City. It is politically
subdivided into 15 barangays. Four are which is classified as urban barangays; Barangay I, II, III and
IV. The rest of the eleven barangays are classified as rural. San Gregorio is the biggest barangay
measuring 840.6190 hectares followed by Santa Rosa measuring 802.28 hectares.

Calauan, Laguna
Calauan is a 2nd class municipality has an area of about 7,458.6629 hectares more or less
of land and lies in the central part of Laguna. It is bounded on the North by Laguna de Bay, on the
South by San Pablo City, on the East by municipality of Nagcarlan and on the West by municipality
of Bay. It is 75 kilometers from Manila, 21 kilometers from Sta. Cruz, Laguna and 5 kilometers from
its neighboring town, Bay. It subdivided into 17 barangays, 2 compose the center of the city whereas
the other 15 are in the outlying areas. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 74,890
people.

Liliw, Laguna

Liliw is a fourth class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It is one of the
highland towns forming the southern extremity of the province. It has a total land area of 5,680
hectares and is politically subdivided into 33 barangays. It is located 110 kms. from Metro Manila via
Sta. Cruz and 105 kms. via San Pablo City . The municipality is bounded on the northeast by
Magdalena (Laguna); on the northwest by Sta. Cruz (Laguna); on the west by Nagcarlan (Laguna);
on the east by Majayjay (Laguna); and on the south by Dolores Quezon. According to the 2010
census, it has a population of 33,851 people.

Nagcarlan, Laguna
Nagcarlan is a second class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to
the 2010 census, it has a population of 59,726 people. It is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) northeast of San
Pablo City, or 103 kilometres (64 mi) south of Manila. It has a total land area of 7,810 hectares. It is
consist of 52 barangays, three (3) of which are Urban barangays and the remaining forty nine (49)
are Rural barangays.

Rizal, Laguna
Rizal is a third class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It is a landlocked
municipality of located 25 kilometers (16 mi) from the provincial capital Santa Cruz and is bounded
on the north by municipality of Calauan, on the east by Nagcarlan on the west by San Pablo City,
and on the south by Dolores, Quezon. It has an approximate land area of 2,790 hectares and
composed of 11 barangays namely: East Poblacion, West Poblacion, Antipolo, Talaga Tuy, Paule-1,
Paule-2, Tala, Entablado, Pook, and Laguan. The Poblacion area is about 8.32 hectares and
composed of 2 urban barangays. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 15,518
people.

San Pablo, Laguna

The City of San Pablo is a third class city in the southern portion of Laguna Province, it is
one of the country's oldest cities. By land area, it is the largest in the province of Laguna with
197.6 km. It has 80 barangays with a population of 248,890 in the 2010 census, it ranks fifth within
the province.
