Summary: Innovative educator with over 10 years (24) operating a consultant company “Creative Ark” training educators across the
State offering in-depth knowledge of State Standards across the Education learning system from Pre-k through 14 th grade.
 Program Development to include: common knowledge base and common language for determining what children are to
know and do. Stability for a transient population: instruction is aligned with standards from school to school.
 Implementing strategies and goals are best accomplished with administrators and teaching knowing and owning the
Standards: getting students to Rigor by understanding the standards require for high levels of cognitive processing and
knowledge (rigor) which means understanding and knowing scaffolding to get young children ready for higher learning by
planned daily instructional activities. Using Matrix to plot the Standards and reach a higher level of cognitive processes.
 Evaluating of product design and impact by looking at student work will help teachers modify and plan for student needs,
and helps teachers plan future lessons that will help them to complete future tasks, in which a rubric is used.

• Training & coaching teacher’s Pre-k--15 all areas of curriculum to include State evoked methods into the California School
System in though present. Developed training for Non-profit agencies in service planning aria six & 8.
 Received funding to train Parents in Early Literacy from First 5 LA in readiness intervention in three pre-k learning centers
in Los Angeles and Compton.
 Develop and wrote training for trainers for Lake Shore training throughout the U.S., managed and organized and trained
staff.
• Developed parent training for parents - LAUSD ready for school programs.
• Developed handbook for literacy in Pasadena School District.
 Training for State of California teacher’s K-12 plus pre-K, after school programs best practice.
• LAUSD District 7 - helped develop and plan for training teachers in the Standards-based teaching and learning planning
matrix non-profit after school programs.
• Provided Learning Support to schools in Compton Unified School District, training teachers last date (2008) After School
Programs Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
• Coached and created workshops for Academic Decathlon Management team.
• Training Social Workers in a program called: Terms of Engagement within the communication arena. (2004-2007) USC
• Foster care parent training for El Camino and Cerritos (including) children with special needs.
• Training Southern California Gas Company in various skills to include team building, time management and development,
plus internal management development.
