wonderful herbal soaps are always a favorite.
If you’ve been contemplating buying a
fountain for your home or garden, we have a
great selection now just in time for Christmas.
It would be a great gift for the family and for
your home!
We also have some great new gardening
tools from Japan. The high quality pruners,
shears and Hori Hori knives would be
cherished by any gardener.
Our selection of gardening books is better
than ever. If you know someone planning to
build a pond and waterfall or put together
a water-wise garden, we have the books
for you. Our dear friend and part-time
employee Marilyn Raff has written a new book:
“Ornamental Grasses for Western Gardens”
that is available at Timberline Gardens for
your favorite gardener. With the increased
interest in home vegetable gardening, we have
many books to help gardeners produce their
best crops ever. Get your gardener a book on
preserving or cooking (including Kelly’s mom’s
own cookbook). One of our favorite new books
is “The Compleat Squash”. Full of information
and recipes it is beautiful enough to be
displayed on the coffee table.
Among the most popular gift items at our
nursery are bonsai trees. We have a great
selection for amateurs and experts alike. Try
a dwarf Ficus for the office or a Japanese
garden juniper for a cool windowsill at home.
We have just received a new shipment of
bonsai plants and supplies just in time for the
Holidays. It is our best selection to date.
Seeds make great stocking stuffers along
with gardening books and tools. We have
seeds for salad greens, peas, carrots and
onions. For something different try the striped
heirloom beet ‘Chioga’. We carry lots of native
Colorado wildflower seeds!
