DETAILS:
On Friday 04/23/2010 at approx. 9:30 p.m., two (2) customers at CVS
used $1,000.00 in counterfeit American Express Travelers Cheques
to purchase $838.21 worth of merchandise, receiving $161.79 in
change back. CVS employees became suspicious of the suspects
but did not contact police until after the transactions were
completed and the suspects left the area. The actors’ identity is
under investigation.

DETAILS:
April 24, 2010 2:10 a.m., Plainsboro Police observed a black Ford F150 pickup truck
bearing NJ registration XK494K travelling north bound on US Route 1 failing to maintain the
lane. The vehicle was stopped on US Route 1 North at College Road where investigation at
the scene revealed the driver, Ramiro S. Ortiz to be driving while intoxicated. Ortiz was
arrested for D.W.I. and charged with Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Driving with a
Suspended License, Unlicensed Driver and Failure to Maintain Lane. Ortiz was transported to
Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center and turned over to Immigration and Customs
Enforcement pending an investigation of his immigration status.

A resident of Hampshire Drive

DETAILS: On April 23, 2010 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:50 p.m. a resident of
Hampshire Drive reported that their resident’s rear outer screen window was pried open by
unknown person(s) using a sharp object. The damaged screen window is valued at
approximately $100. Police are currently investigating this incident.

DETAILS: On Saturday April 24th 2010 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Bolognese
observed a 2005 Honda Civic driving on the wrong side of Hunters Glen Drive. Patrolman
Bolognese followed behind the vehicle as it turned west bound on to Plainsboro Road. After
conducting a motor vehicle stop, investigation found the driver of the vehicle, Daniel Gutman
to be highly intoxicated. Gutman was subsequently arrested and his vehicle was impounded.
Gutman was issued motor vehicle summonses for D.W.I., Refusing to Submit to a breath test,
Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Driving on the wrong side of a roadway, Improper turning,
and Failure to maintain a lane. After processing, Gutman was turned over to the custody of a
friend.
