Welcome to the first update for the 2014 Holiday Toy Guide!
*** IMPORTANT... PLEASE READ BEFORE GETTING TO THE LIST ***
Before we get to the list, I wanted to mention a few things so that you can better take
advantage of the information here.
Although toys are starting to move earlier than previous years... it is important to know
that this first list is looked at more as a benchmark. It is our starting place.
You'll notice that there are some items on the list that aren't selling right now at all
others are selling at retail... and others are starting to sell above retail pricing.
Remember, this is a list of toys that are expected to be the most popular for the holiday
season. This is NOT a list of what is expected to be the best for resale. Although that is
what we will eventually end up with as we get deeper into these reports.
The information provided takes each item that is expected to be popular (that
were in the ebook) and looks at how each one is performing on eBay and
Amazon and compares that to retail pricing. Knowing that an item isn't selling well
is valuable information... just like knowing what is selling. You get BOTH here... no one
can predict what is going to be the best resellers. We can look at trends... look at
previous years... and make educated guesses but, only research and time will tell.
Please keep in mind this list will morph as we get deeper in... some items will go up,
others will skyrocket, some won't sell well on eBay or Amazon and those will eventually
be removed the purpose of this report is to provide all of that information. So,
remember... this is NOT necessarily a list of toys that are hot sellers online. Instead, it is
a tool to get us to the hot sellers for the 2014 Holiday selling season.
This IS a list of toys that are predicted to be popular this year and we have
provided research for you so that the good sellers can be determined.
One more thing...
Some of the items are extremely difficult to narrow down. We use advance search
strategies to narrow down the search results to be as specific as possible so that we get
the most accurate data. We cannot control, however, how a seller lists the item.
Sometimes there were so many different configurations of bundles and lots that included
all kinds of accessories as well as the pets. It can be impossible to remove all of the
options and just get data for the single product itself. We will do our best to include any
additional notes so that the information we are providing is clear.
