Want to give something lasting back to the communities youve visited?

Through The Intrepid Foundation you can help support community
organisations and projects in: health care, education, human rights,
child welfare, sustainable development and environmental and wildlife
protection. All donations to the Intrepid Foundation will be matched by
Intrepid Travel dollar for dollar up to a total of AU$400,000 in each financial
year and a maximum of AU$5,000 per donor in each financial year.

Ecuador
Charles Darwin Foundation: Supporting the restoration of the habitats on Floreana Island in the Galapagos
Islands - so that threatened species, which previously became extinct on Floreana, including the Floreana
mockingbird and the giant tortoise, can be reintroduced.

Brazil
R
 oupa Suja Project (UMPMRS): Working to improve the lives of the families living in the favela in the Roupa
Suja neighbourhood of Rio, through education.

Peru
Living Heart: Health and nutritional support for disadvantaged communities in the Sacred Valley area of Peru.
Escuela Winaypaq: Provide free primary bilingual education and nutritional support to needy children (living
in extreme poverty) from 5 villages around the Taray District of the Sacred Valley.

Guatemala
 CasaSito: Providing educational opportunities in rural areas of Guatemala for children living in poverty.
Our support is for their scholarship program.
