Working at HMV consisted of organising CDs & DVDs, developing my
organisation skills, implementing my communication skills by talking and
helping customers, learners how to use equipment such as using the label
maker, writing reviews for new music, socialising and forming relationships
with other staff members and working behind the scenes checking stock
etc. When rated by my supervisor I was awarded 10/10. Comment made
by my supervisor: Excellent work placement. Lydia has had no problems
with any of the tasks she has been given. Whether working alone or side
by side with a member or staff her attitude and work ethic was been first
class.

EXPERIENCE
RADIO CITY
Working at Radio City consisted of sorting out prizes competition winners,
being organised and sorting out mail, learning communication skills by
phoning up competition winners and welcoming guests to the station. I
also learnt about the equipment used when airing the radio. I sorted out
the stations calendar by putting in concert and other important musical
events into the diary. Again, when awarded for my performance by my
supervisor I was given 10/10.

SCOPE CHARITY SHOP

When volunteering at Scope charity shop I gained a valuable retail sales
assistance experience, handling money and serving customers, putting
out new stock in the correct places, taking down old unsold stock and
sorting them into rag bags, working as a team with other members of
staff, cleaning out the shop floor, cleaning our bins, dusty surfaces etc.
VINTAGE CLOTHING TRADING
I am passionate about fashion and have been buying and selling vintage
clothing these past few years. I buy from places such as charity shops
and car boots sales; I then advertise them online on platforms such as
ASOS Marketplace and eBay. To be an online clothing trader, you need
to be organised, have good customer communication skills and an eye
for fashionable items.

AT YOUR SERVICE
I have worked for At Your Service as a casual worker, working as a team
to serve at big events and private functions. This included setting up
the event tables, serving food and beverages to the public, tidying, and
putting away equipment after the events.
BOOTS
Photo Processing Assistant
June 2015 February 2016.
Whilst working at Boots, I held the position of Photo Processing Assistant.
I worked mainly in the photo lab, producing the customers photo work. This
included traditional film processing c41, using the Fuji frontier for digital
prints, photobooks, canvas, large format poster printing and calendars. I
worked three days per week and was the team leader of the lab. I was in
charge of stock replenishment, maintenance of the machines and training
other staff members. As well as my photo lab duties, I was in charge of
stock replenishment of the shop floor areas of photo albums, electricals
and batteries. I would also help with stock deliveries and replenishment,
online orders and refunds. I served customers, handled cash and gave
them advice on their queries.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
I am polite, organised, I have good punctuality and a great sense of
humour. I am responsible, sensible, careful and thoughtful. I am easy to
get along with, friendly, calm and can cope well in new situations.
INTERESTS
I have a big interest in Photography and Graphic Design. I also love
music with a particular interest in the 60s era. I enjoy going to gigs and
concerts. I enjoy taking photographs, reading and socialising. You can see
