Rain! Dark clouds suddenly closed in as the word was spoken.

Sunlight got
dimmer and dimmer, and birds stopped singing at once.
Lightning Thorn! Victoria shouted, raising her hands. Lightning bolts stroke
on the trading guild Star Isle, causing the whole guild to tear apart. Victoria
could hear distant screaming from the trading guild in the nearby forest where
she was hiding.
She then walked slowly to the trading guild, swiftly changing her appearance
from a teenage girl to a tall man.
So, she said, standing at the doorway, her voice turned out low and rough.
She gave the guild members a hard, evil stare, which made them tremble
terribly.
The guild members gulped nervously and ran towards their storeroom.
Known as the master of disguise, Victoria is the strongest mage in dark guild
Vampire Dawn, and also the most cheerful one.
Although she was in a dark guild, Victorias heart had always filled with
kindness. She didnt want to do all this, she hated destruction after all. But this
was all for Kyo. Its worth it. Victori thought.
H-here, its all weve got, a man stuttered, pushing more than a hundred
boxes towards the doorway with other men.
Hmph, Victoria said, apparently just woken from her thoughts. Snow!
Snow drifted lightly from the sky. The air suddenly became cold. Victoria held
her palms towards the ground where the boxes were. Freeze.
She froze the ground bit by bit as she started to push the boxes. I should get
going.
After walking for a while, Victoria turned back to a girl with big purple eyes
and long hair as soft as snow. Her cute braids dangled as she walked.
Its my birthday, Victoria smiled as she thought. I should give them a surprise.
A few hours later, Vampire Dawn was visible within sight. Victoria smiled with
delight, and ran towards it energetically, not a sign of weariness was shown.
Hey people! Im back! she shouted as she reached for the door. Hundreds of
faces turned towards her dorection, all turning into smiles when they see her.
Tori! Toris back! A woman said. Why, youre early this time!

Of course, its my birthday! Tori laughed, You didnt forget, did you?
Course not, Tori! said a mans voice from the kitchen, pushing out a big
cake on a trolley made with Green Fire, the molding fire. Heres your cake,
birthday girl!
The guild was filled with oohs and aahs, and the plump man who seemed
to be the cook started putting candles on the cake and lit them up with his
fingertip.
Tori cut the cake and everyone enjoyed it. Then she stood up. I should
probably tell Master Im back.
Tori skipped her way up the long flight of stairs to the Masters room. She was
going to reach for the handle when she heard voices inside.
The plan seemed to be going well, a voice said. It was a womans voice.
Youre right, Vis. Killing him back then was the right choice. A voice that
sounded like the Masters spoken.
It was a wise choice indeed, The woman said. But shouldnt we be talking
about this somewhere else? Victoria could be back any time.
Toris on an important mission. She wouldnt be back for some time. Master
said slyly. Then he laughed an evil laugh.
The woman joined in.
Little did they know that Tori was standing at the other side of the door, her
hand still outstretched to turn the handle, her face white. Trembling with fear she
could not understand, tears rolled down her face as she cupped her hands to her
mouth.
Then her expression changed. She felt the heat of anger burning in her, the
desire to take revenge for Kyo rose in her heart. Her strong anger caused the air
around her to heat up, and suddenly fire was surrounding her.
Tori pushed open the heavy wooden door with fire, and found two shocked
faces looking back at her. Then Master smiled.
Tori, youre back early! Welcome ho-
YOU KILLED KYO?! YOU KILLED MY BROTHER?!?!?!?!
Silence followed. The smile on Masters face froze.

Tori tried to stay calm. And yet, she was impatient. She stomped to Masters
table and punched her fist onto it. The blazing fire from her hand caused the
table to break into pieces.
It seems youve heard it all, Master finally stood up, his expression calm.
I should have known, he laughed. How long can I keep that secret?
ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Tori yelled at the top of her lungs. She was angry.
The man she trusted so much had killed Kyo?! How could he?!?!?!
Wind! She cried. Tornado Swords!!
Strong wind gathered on the two sides of Tori, and shaped into wind swords as
she outstretched her hands.
Tori plunged the two swords into the Master with all her might, only to realize
that he had dodged it, and was grapping the swords with one hand.
Tori could not free her swords from Masters hand no matter how hard she
tried.
You think YOU can beat ME, Tori?! Master smirked. Think again!
He swung his hand and sent the swords out the window flying, along with Tori.
Ahhh! Tori was cut by the shreds of glass of the broken window. She made a
movement with her hands and the swords changed shape into wings that held
Tori in midair. Good thing theyre wind swords, she sighed.
The wings sent her back into the room and disappeared. The fire which
surrounded Tori was neutralized by the wind outside, and she felt herself
becoming calmer.
She was going to ask for the truth when she suddenly crumpled to the floor,
hit by powerful dark magic.
Now that you know the truth, I cannot let you live. You must die here,
Victoria. NOW. A woman said, looking at Tori with squinted eyes.
Its the woman from before. Tori thought, she recognized her voice.
Stop it, Vis. Master held his palm towards the woman. The plan is nothing
without her.
What plan? Tori wondered.

Its true, Tori. I killed that chicken, Masters words freed Tori from her
thoughts. Tori had never seen this side of Master. She was scared. She backed
away slowly, on the cold floor, nervously shaking her head.
You think I would play nice with you for nothing? Master closed in towards
Tori. You think I would raise you if I know that youre not a dragon slayer?
Im what? Tori was puzzled.
Im a dragon slayer? But how? Kyo wasnt even a dragon! Could it be a
lacrima? But she could not remember anything like that...
The Dragon Slayer of the Weather. The most powerful type of all times.
Master smirked.
Tori was stunned.
If Im a dragon slayer Then Kyo
Thats right, Tori. Hes a dragon! I KILLED A DRAGON! And it wasnt hard at
all, I can still remember the cry of pain as if it was just yesterday! Master
laughed crazily.
Tori stood up. She finally found her bravery, and her anger as well.
A dragon in human form would be a lot weaker! You wouldnt be able to beat
him in his real form! Tori cried in desperation.
The Master chuckled in reply, his hands outstretched, as if waiting for Tori to
cast an attack on him.
Youll pay for this! SCORCHING SUN! The dark surrounding of the guild
became brightly lit, and suddenly sunlight was shining into every corner of the
guild, which was hard to endure.
AHHHHHHH!!! This This is Toris magic! Why would she do such a thing?!?!
Someone from the guild cried.
As if she didnt hear anything, Tori said, BLAZE!
The air got much hotter, the sunlight stronger, and everyone in the guild was
burned till brick red, including Master, who Tori knows couldnt stand the heat.
Moans and groans filled the guild, she couldnt help but feel sorry for her
comrades.

Toris eye-sight suddenly got blur, and tears poured down her eyes. She
couldnt help it. It has been a long time since she last cried.
The memory was still fresh in her mind.
Youre awake! Someone cried as Tori slowly opened her eyes.
H-Hey Where am I? she rubbed her eyes and looked around her. Sitting in
front of her was a smiling teenage boy who looked just like her, but with dark
blue hair. Who are you?
Im Kyo, and this is where I live, Kyo said, standing up. Ill get you
something to eat.
It was a cozy place although it was small. Tori always felt protected staying in
that house.
Thats because I can maintain the temperature around here! Kyo said one
day when Tori asked him.
Wow, thats awesome! Tori exclaimed.I wanna do that too!
Kyo smiled as he ruffled Toris pale blue hair.
Tori cried even harder when she recalled her good times with Kyo. Kyo was her
only family, her only brother. Tori lost her parents long ago because of a dark
wizard, and she had hated wizards ever since until Kyo found her. Although her
life was simple with him, she was happy. She never felt lonely, not even once.
Ive never wanted to join a dark guild, or to follow a dark wizards footsteps!
But when you said that you saved me from a dragon and made Kyo a grave, I
couldnt help but feel thankful. But its all a lie, isnt it? Toris voice was soft, but
dangerous.
She walked to the opening of the long flight of stairs.
Lets see if what Master said was true.
ROAR OF THE WEATHER DRAGON!!! Tori put all her strength into the last
attack. The whole guild burst apart, there were people flying everywhere. Cries
of agony were heard, then everything went quiet.
Tori buried her face in her hands and ran from the guild.
Tori kept running and running, until she bumped into a tree. She sat down
slowly, leaning onto the tree. Then she heard it. A group of people walking,
talking and laughing happily.

Wizards?
I say we go for chicken!
No, I want burgers!
Happy wants a big fish!
WILL YOU GUYS JUST STOP IT?!?!
Luckily we were able to finish that job. Tagging along with you people is
trouble.
Shut it, Erza! We finished it anyway!
Stop dragging me into the same group with Natsu and Gray!
Look whos talking. Youre the one whos gotten mad after being told ugly,
Lucy!
It is kinda true, though.
HEY!
Looks like Im forgotten again. I want fish!

They walked past the tree Tori was leaning against, and Tori took a quick
glance at their crest.
Fairy Tail?
Maybe I should join a legal guild too. Thats what Kyo wanted right?
She smiled and closed her eyes, never feeling better.
