This poem describes a small garden pea's crushed dreams of winning a crown and achieving victory. The pea saw a bright future ahead as the sun shone down, but faced challenges in the labyrinth of life that were more than it could handle. Its dreams and future were crushed, leaving it filled with uncertainty in eternal darkness as its dream and life were soon to part.

The suns ray beamed down, Im just a small garden pea, Who is aiming for the crown. Victory I see, The hunger to succeed, But the labyrinth of life upon me, Is indeed more than a creed. No more I can see the future, My future as dark as my heart, It is not what I learned in my culture, My dream and life is soon to part. My dreams crushed, Filled in uncertainty, My future snuffled, Thus it is now eternal.
