Launching of Pondo ng Pinoy

To All Parish Priests:
All is set for the launching of Pondo ng Pinoy on June 11-12, 2004 at the Folk arts
Theater in Pasay City! It will start at exactly 9:00 AM of June 11 with a Eucharistic Celebration
to be presided by the Archbishop of Manila, Gaudencio B. Rosales, ending with The Angelus at
12:00 noon next day.
As a natural consequence of our own Diocesan Assembly on the Urban Poor of
Novaliches last March 22, 2004, each of our parishes is expected to send to the Folk Arts Theater
the same delegates it sent to our Diocesan Assembly.
Please send even by Fax (527.3955) the names of your participants to the Arzobispado on
or before May 25, 2004. We are expected to pre-register our delegates so the Secretariate will not
spend too much time on registration on June 11-12 which starts at 7:00 AM. Enclosed is a copy
of the Program of Activities that the Bishops have approved last April 29, 2004, at the
Arzobispado.
Inside the Kit that accompanies this letter is the Pre-Registration Forms which each
Parish Priest is to fill up and send by FAX to the Arzobispado. Inside also are the Pre-Catechtical
Modules which I ask the Parish Priests to commission their catechists to start giving to all the
different groups and sectors of your Parish before or after the Launching as you deem fit.
I have presupposed your interest to serve the Poor of your Parish and so see you all at
Folk Arts Theater on June 11-12.
