Rules

1. Enter classroom and silence device. When device has been silenced, place in sleeve in front
of classroom and charge if necessary.
2. Device is for educational purposes only while in school building; stay on task
3. District wi-fi only
4. NO SOCIAL MEDIA, texting, phone calls,or messaging of any kind!
5. Return device to sleeve in front after BYOT use until end of day.

Consequences
1. If device is not put in sleeve, you will not be allowed to use it.
2. If off task, device will be taken away for remainder of BYOT use that day.
3. If you do not use district wi-fi, device will be put away, and you will use pencil-paper.
4. Social media usage, texting, phone calls, or any other messaging will result in phone call
home and inability to continue using or bring device on next BYOT day.
5. Teacher can determine consequences as needed.

Procedures
1.Written parent permission is needed
2.Sign out school device if unable to BYOT; same numbered device each time
2. Responsible for own device
3. You are responsible for paying attention to when devices should be brought. After first BYOT
day, no verbal reminders, just signage.
4. Device must be face up at all times.
5.Ask at least THREE peers for help before asking teacher.
6. Students may listen to music during BYOT use, ONE ear bud at a time; music must not be a
disturbance.

teacher discretion. If changes occur, they will go into effect
IMMEDIATELY.*
