BYOT Implementation Plan

Kylie Mitchell

1. Students are NOT allowed to use their devices during non-instructional time and may

only use them for what is instructed of them.

2. During class, all sounds on devices must be muted unless instructed by the teacher fir

instructional activities.

3. Students must not initiate, promote or engage in any cyber bullying and if seen or knows

of someone engaging in cyberbullying the student must report it to a teacher or staff of

the school.

4. Devices are at the sole responsibility of the student and the schools teacher, staff or

administration is not held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged devices.

5. Students may NOT share their devices with others forsake of liability reasons

6. Students are NOT allowed to use the camera, video or audio on their devices and may

only be used when given specific instructions by the teacher to do so and when a prior

written permission form is completed.

7. When devices are not needed for class instruction, they must be in the students locker or

flipped over in the top right hand corner of their desk.

8. Students should understand and know how to work their personal devices. The teacher is

not required to understand how each students device works.
