Job Description of Environment, Social & Security Section

The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

To assist Project office in implementing the Environmental Management Action Plan


(EMAP) and Social & Resettlement Management Plan (SRMP) as per design of
consultants.
To assist Project office in the implementation of mitigation measures as per design of
consultants.
To assist Project site office in land acquisition, compensation and resettlement
process.
To assist in arranging security for all expatriate staff for contractor, World Bank,
Consultant etc.
To assist Project office in co-coordinating with provincial and district governments to
obtain necessary clearances, such as land acquisition, tree cutting, land clearance,
quarry operation etc
Traffic management and co-ordination meetings.

To co-ordinate with World Bank missions.

To co-ordinate with WEC.

To co-ordinate with DG-EPA KP.

Monitoring environments (water, air, noise, vibration, health issues) and issue
reports.
Review of Quarterly Social and Environmental Progress reports

To liaison with consultants.
