Dear Mr. McConville,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 144th Firemens Association of the State of New York
Convention here in Albany.
It takes a lot of bravery and courage to be a firefighter. These volunteers have had to sacrifice a
lot to keep our communities safe, and for that I thank them. FASNY has some of the best and
most dedicated firefighters that our nation has to offer. Now it is time to celebrate all that they
do for us. I used to serve Albany County as a firefighter, and I am especially proud of FASNY
and the great tradition that they uphold by hosting this convention each year.
The FASNY Convention is always an exciting time, there are so many events to enjoy, things to
learn and theres also time to honor those who have served bravely. We are here to celebrate and
recognize all of our firefighters and have fun while doing it.
I am so glad last years convention was a success and am pleased FASNY is gathering in Albany
again this year. We thank you for all that you do for us.
