Conduct of PICE re IO Directives

1. References: Memo from APEC Synccom Executive Director dated November 16, 2015,
re IO Directives for Daily PICE to all PNP Deployed personnel.
2. Be informed that from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM of November 17, 2015, all CDM Company
Commanders of PRO2 Contingent conducted the Police Information and Continuing
Education (PICE) on Information Operation Directives issued by POLICE DIRECTOR
WILFREDO D FRANCO, APEC Synccom Executive Director to the members of
contingent held at their respective areas of deployment. The following IO directives
were disseminated:
a) Ensuring that all personnel deployed personnel are properly identified and
authorized to undertake their prescribed duties;
b) Dissemination of all instruction down to the people on the ground and all
unit commanders should be informed of all activities of their personnel;
c) Increased the level of alertness and security of our people;
d) Supervise properly and conscientiously all personnel under them, control
their actions and manage their activities. Likewise, motivate them to show
their best and be proud for what they have been chosen and selected to
take part in. Lead by example.
e) To sum it all, be firm, be strict but tempered, and be vigilant.
3. Moreover, CDM Contingent of PRO2 were reminded on the prohibition on the use of
social media in airing their grievances/frustrations encountered during their deployment
and were directed to act professionally and follow the established grievance system of
the PNP.
