To whom it may concern,

My name is Bryan Trinh, I am a nursing student in the accelerated nursing program at the
University of South Florida. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing August,
6th 2016. This will be my second bachelors degree, the first being a Bachelor of Arts and Science
in Bio-medical Sciences. I am contacting you because I would like a job as a nurse at James A.
Haley Veterans Hospital. I have put in countless of clinical hours at James A. Haley Veterans
Hospital within various fields of nursing including SCI, Medical Surgical, ER, OR and
Psychiatric among others. I spent a majority of my clinical hours on medical surgical floors,
especially the post op medical surgical floor on 4 south where I chose to do my preceptorship
during my final semester. My preceptor was the most organized and intellectual nurse I have ever
met and taught me skills, documentation, organization and most importantly time management
and teamwork. I immediately grew fond of the floor. The working environment was amazing, the
nurses on the floor are the definition of teamwork and cooperation and I would appreciate being
a part of such a great team.
The reason why I should be a candidate for employment at James. A Haley Veterans
Hospital is because I have am passionate and hardworking. I also have a strong grasp on how the
computer system works for documentation. I am very familiar with the hospital and I enjoy the
patients and staff throughout the whole hospital. I can provide references from nurses and nurse
managers if need be.
If hired, I will constantly be hard working, positive, caring, organized and passionate
about working on the medical surgical floor. It is my dream to become a nurse and I know that I
will be happy at the James. A Haley Veterans Hospital.
I will be sure to provide the safest and best care for my patients. I will encourage patients
to do surveys to assess my nursing performance to prove my ability to provide safe and efficient
patient care with the upmost respect for the patient and staff.
Thank you for considering me for employment and I will be looking forward to an
interview.

Sincerely,
Bryan Trinh
