Udaan Operations Pre-process

1) Prepare a document for following

Q-1 Justify your candidature (SOP) for operations vertical? (Not more than 100
words)
Answer As Harsh Parmar was explaining during presentation that they want to
encourage the people with special needs, and the theme for UDAAN-16 is also
Empowering people with special needs so I think I would be a suitable
person for this position because I am the person who comes under special needs
category, so I will try to put example in front of the people with disability. I have
already worked as a coordinator in a national level conference where I have handled
some critical situations so this previous experience will be definitely helpful here
also.
Q-2 Think about 5 major problems that ops vertical can face and innovative solution
for the same. (1 bullet point answer only for each)
Answer
Problem 1 There could be a problem of stampede during marathon
Solution We can have some emergency boards in our marathon route which will
give direction to split people to avoid hindrance.
Problem 2 There are various risk comes with Long-Distance Running like muscle
damage, inflammation, heart problems and other medical emergencies.
Solution As this year we are going for half marathon (21KM) so these kind of
medical emergencies could be common so we should have a separate team
for medical emergencies which will focus on facilities like medical
emergencies, availability of first aid box, Emergency contact no.
Problem 3 Timing could be a problem
Solution Shifting of events according to time, proper planning but we should
understand some time jugaad works better than anything.
Problem 4 People with special needs require attention
Solution Special track for people with disability, proper attention to them.
Problem 5 Basic amenities during marathon
Solution There should be some advance basic amenities like drinking water,
food, glucose etc.
