The OCT report showed bilateral diabetic macular edema with cystic changes and epiretinal membrane in both eyes of patient Madeha A. Elmonem Mohamed. In both eyes, central macular thickness was above normal limits and there were hyper-reflective spots indicating hemorrhage and hard exudates. Hypo-reflective cysts indicated cystoid macular edema. The right eye had an epiretinal membrane attached temporally without traction. The impression was bilateral DME with cystic changes and ERM.

3D macular scan and 5 line cross report of both eyes
:showed Right:
Altered foveal contour with preserved foveal pit.
Central macular thickness is 271 m (Above normal limits in comparison to the OCT normative base ) with adjacent Infero-temporal retinal thickening. Hyper-reflective spots in all layers indicating hemorrhage. Hypo-reflective circular spaces with smooth walls and clear contents indicating cystoid macular edema . Hyper-reflective spots with back-shadowing indicating hard exudates.
Normal RPE-choriocapillaries complex
Evidence of ERM firmly attached temporal to fovea without vitreo macular traction Evidence of neither PVD nor vitreo-macular traction.
Left:
Altered foveal contour with shallow foveal pit.
Central macular thickness is 257 m, (Above normal limits in comparison to the OCT normative base ) with Adjacent retinal thickening. Hyper-reflective spots in all layers indicating hemorrhage. Hypo-reflective circular spaces with smooth walls and clear contents indicating cystoid macular edema . Hyper-reflective spots with back-shadowing indicating hard exudates.
