The 3D macular scan and radial report of Ahmed Mahmoud Hafez on June 20, 2016 revealed altered foveal contour but preserved foveal pits in both eyes, with central macular thickness within normal limits and adjacent retinal thinning in both eyes. Both eyes also showed normal RPE-choriocapillaries complexes and evidence of partial posterior vitreous detachment with tight attachment to the fovea. The impression was of a bilateral normal macular configuration with decreased retinal thickness.

:3D macular scan and radial report of both eyes revealed
Right: Altered foveal contour with preserved foveal pit. Central macular thickness is 237 m (within normal limits as compred with age-matched normative data), with adjacent retinal thinning. Normal RPE-choriocapillaries complex. Evidence of partial PVD with tight attachment to fovea (sea gull appearance). Left: Altered foveal contour with preserved foveal pit. Central macular thickness is 230 m (within normal limits as compred with age-matched normative data), with adjacent retinal thinning. Normal RPE-choriocapillaries complex. Evidence of partial PVD with tight attachment to fovea (sea gull appearance).
Impression: a picture of bilateral normal macular
configuration with decrease of retinal thickness. Best regards
