The Caleuche
The legend of The Caleuche is very
popular in the south of Chile. The
Caleuche is a ghost ship that sails
the seas around Chilo. It only
appears at night and you can see it
because of the lights and the music
that come from the parties the
sailors always have on board.
If a person gets close to The
Caleuche, it disappears. If you see the ship and the sailors there see you,
they can kill you. And if the ship is near the shore, sometimes they take and
invite a victim to visit the cities at the bottom of the sea forever.
So, if you go to Chilo, be careful, a ghost ship may be around.
