Other Experience/ Volunteer


Worked alongside a team of 6 students as PR Volunteers for a college course called The Agency
(students are a PR Agency for the entire semester to a real client in the community pro-bono) to
launch The Warrior Project, which is a government grant funded program for Niskayuna High
School through N-CAP (Niskayuna Community Action Program). Provided initial Social Media and
webpage set up for the high school club, as well as 5 events planned through the semester, Logo
Design, T-Shirt Design, Brochure, etc. (Spring 2014)

Lead a team of three students for a semester as PR volunteers for Upper Hudson Planned
Parenthood (UHPP), Albany, NY. Implemented a PR plan to spread awareness of facility and
services. Created various ad scripts for advertisements of the facility. (Spring 2013).

Accepted and Presented my research paper, The Changed Self: Facebooks Impact on Family
Members Identities at the National Communications Association (NCA) 100th Annual
Convention in Chicago, IL (Nov. 2014). The only undergraduate submission accepted by The Media
Ecologies Division of the entire NCA Convention.
