Invention Time Line
Directions:
With a partner, you are to create a time line of the Inventions that gave birth
to the new industrial age. Your timeline should cover the 8 x 11 sheet of
paper. Each item should include the name of the product, the date, and the
inventor. You also need to include illustrations for at least 4 items. In addition
to the items listed you will research 3 additional items on your own. At least
one of the items should be invented by someone who was/is a minority.
Include a Chicago style bibliography page with your timeline. Be creative with
your timeline and have fun.
PART I:

Choose an invention that is interesting to you. Write a three paragraph essay
describing the product and what it did, how the invention changed society or
made life easier, and how the technology has changed over time. Essays
should be one page in length, handwritten, and double spaced.
Total Points for Part II = 20 points
