BUSS 5381major Report
BUSS 5381major Report
The major report is due 3 weeks after the return of assignment 1. Since
assignment 1 is due back on Wed Oct 9, it means students who did their
presentations on Oct 9, as well as those who did it before Oct 9, will need to
submit their report via grade-book on Wed Oct 30 by 5pm. From then on, for
the following weeks presentations, each student has 3 weeks to submit their
assignment after their role plays, up until week 13, where those who do their
presentation on Wed Nov. 6 will need to submit by 5pm Wed Nov 27.
Here is a suggested outline for the report:
Explain briefly the process you followed to set up the role play. You will also
need to refer to an Appendix which will give extensive details of
o Role play topics. ( Note that you only need to choose one if you did 2
different role plays)
o Role play assistants
o Time keeper
o Camera persons
o Questionnaire distributor and collector
o Room organiser
o Room layout
o Questionnaire
Summarise results ONLY on those issues you want to discuss. Use bar
charts, pie charts, tables or whatever way you can present the data in a
summarised visual way.
You might wish to fill in one of your questionnaires to include your scores after
viewing the recordings, and identify where you rated yourself compared to the
rest of the class.
Since tables, graphs, charts do not count in the word count, the only words
that would count are any comments on the results
Analyse the results comparing them with the literature. In the Introduction, you
wrote what you SHOULD have done, and in the Discussion you write what
you DID do, and WHY you did it. Explain why there are any differences, if any,
between the two. It is suggested you use the same order you introduced
each topic in the Introduction in the Discussion section, in analysing the
results
You may use any references you wish as long as there are a minimum of 15
academic sources
Any raw data from your results such as the number of responses for each
question, but not in a table or chart form.
