The student is writing a research paper on how to make the Strawberry Hill area of Kansas City more appealing. She reached out to the Strawberry Hill Museum Board with several questions to help complete her project. She is interested in learning more about Strawberry Hill, the people who live there, and the museum. She asks if a board member would be willing to do an interview, either in person, over the phone, or via email, to help answer her questions since her own research has been limited. She provides her contact information and thanks them in advance for their assistance.

Strawberry Hill Museum 720 N 4th Street Kansas City, KS 66101 Dear Strawberry Hill Museum Board, As a research paper in my AP Language and Composition course at Olathe East High School, I am researching the question What can make the Strawberry Hill are in Kansas City, KS more appealing to visitors and possible homebuyers from the KC suburbs? This particular topic interests me because I had never heard of Strawberry Hill and that inspired me to learn more. I have researched Strawberry Hill more in depth, but I have decided the most accurate way to learn about Strawberry Hill would be talking to a Strawberry Hill Board Member, which is why I am writing this letter. I would like to inquire about several different topics, but first and foremost, I would like to learn more about Strawberry Hill, the people who live there, and of course the Strawberry Hill Museum. Since I have only acquired a limited amount of information, I feel I am unable to complete this project in a suitable manner. If I could ask you a few questions and hear what aspects you find important about Strawberry Hill, you will help me immensely. If there is a time that I may interview you in person, over the phone, or send you questions via email, I would be grateful. You may contact me at (913) 515-7662 or abby.lacy13@gmail.com. If you wish to meet in person, please inform me of the dates and times that would work best for your needs, and I will try my best to be as flexible as possible. I really appreciate your help, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Abby Lacy AP Language and Composition Student Olathe East High School
