Math
We will continue with Chapter 1: Addition and Subtraction Within 1,000. This
week we will begin working on subtraction.

Reading
As a class, we will continue working on character traits, setting, plot, and
theme. We will continue asking and answering questions.

Science
(3-ESS2). Students will continue focusing on weather conditions and different
climates.

Language Arts/Writing
Students will be reviewing common/proper nouns, plural/irregular plurals, and
possessives, both singular and plural. Students will take the final assessment
on Friday.
Students will work on writing personal narratives with independence.

Spelling
All students are required to complete all work during a review week. This
week is a review week. Students will be reviewing V/CV and VC/V, -le words,
compound words, consonant blends, and consonant digraphs. There will only
be a final test for all on Friday. (No pretest)

Reading:
RL3.1 Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the

Math:
NBT 3.1,2,3.
Use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.Fluently add and subtract
within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the
relationship between addition and subtraction. Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range
10-90 (e.g., 9 80, 5 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
