Hello First Grade Families,

We have a busy week ahead of us in first grade. This
week the students will be testing. Please make sure
your child is getting plenty of sleep and eating a
healthy breakfast before arriving to class.

Monday, October 10th-Friday,

October 14th is testing week.

Thursday, October 13th is

Library Day

Friday, October 14th

Scholastic book orders are
due.

The students will have spelling words this week that

focus on digraphs.
In math, the students will be working on surveys, tally
marks, and graphing! They will be graphing some
spooky items. J

..to give you an example of a

noun.

In writing this week, students will learn all about

adjectives and how they make our writing more
descriptive!
Dont forget that conferences are next Monday and
Tuesday (October 17th & 18th). I look forward to
meeting with you and celebrating your students hard
work at school!
