OBJECTIVE

I am very excited to be applying for the opening 3 rd

grade teaching position at West Wendover Elementary
School. I have had some volunteer time spent in a
kindergarten class where I learned a lot about
managing a classroom and how to teach the curriculum
to the students. I have also been studying elementary
education at the College of Southern Idaho for the past
two years and a half. I feel that I am fit for this position
based on my past experiences.

the lead, and building relationships with others.

EXPERIENCE

FALL 2016 (CURRENT) SODEXO- 315 FALLS AVE. TWIN FALLS,

I am currently employed with Sodexo at the College of Southern

Idaho. I hold the position as a server. My responsibilities consist of
serving customers, keeping the service area neat and clean, keeping
track of temperature of the foods, and logging the amount of food
used throughout the shift. This position requires a friendly and
positive attitude with a great amount of team work and
responsibility.
SUMMER OF 2016-HUMAN RESOURCES FOR PEPPERMILL INC. 1045 WENDOVER BLVD., WEST WENDOVER, NEVADA 89883

In the human resources department, I held the position as a human

resources clerk. My responsibilities consisted of the hiring process of
oncoming employees, scanning and filing employee paperwork, and
answering phone calls/e-mails. This position required interacting
with others, problem solving, team work, and time management.
Summer of 2016- Cashier at West Wendover Public
Swimming Pool 1000 W. FLORENCE WAY, WEST WENDOVER,
NEVADA 89883
My cashier position at the public swimming pool consisted of
interacting with customers, maintaining concessions, and handling
money. I have worked at the pool previous summers and this past
summer I was a higher up cashier. I was responsible for training the
other cahiers and looking over them while doing my own job. This
job has taught me to hold a higher position and be responsible for
myself and others.

While attending the College of Southern Idaho, I am majoring in

Elementary Education. I will graduate in December 2016 with an
Associates of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. Currently my
cumulative GPA is a 3.43 on a 4.0 scale. I plan to transfer to Great
Basin College in Elko, Nevada to attain my Bachelors Degree in
Elementary education with a minor in Mathematics.

I graduated from high school with my diploma on June 06, 2014. I
graduated 4th in my class out of 66 students, holding a grade point

Currently I am a volunteer coach at Twin Falls High school for

their cheerleading team. I love being involved with the
cheerleaders and helping them as much as I can to improve
their program.
Currently I am an ambassador at the College of Southern
Idaho, where I give tours to prospective students and explain
to them all the perks about attending the college.
My first two years of college I was a cheerleader. I had to
balance being a full time student, having a part-time job,
being an ambassador, and being a cheerleader. This really
taught me time management and responsibility.
Throughout high school I was a very active student in student
leadership, National Honor Society, and cheerleading. In
National Honor Society I was vice president, where I assisted
the president of the program and planned activities for the
program. In cheerleading I was captain for two years, where I
was responsible for teaching the team cheers and dances.
