ABSTRACT
In everyday life hygiene is very important and must be considered because of the
cleanliness will affect a person's health and psychological. Parenting parents is an
interaction between the child and the parents aligned hold events this care means
parents to educate, guide and discipline and protecting the child to reach maturity
in accordance with the existing norms. This study aimed to determine the
relationship of parenting parents to personal hygiene in Public Elementary school
students at Cimancak 1 Bayah in 2015. The number of respondents who
researched many as 54 respondents are parents who have children at school age.
The results showed Relationship Between parenting parents to Personal hygiene at
State Primary school students at Cimancak 1 Bayah in 2015, that respondents who
have parenting Neglecfull category have good personal hygiene to their children
as much (50.0%) compared with Authoritation category (87.5 %) authoritative
category (63.6%) and Permissive category (84.0%). It was concluded that the Chi
Square test with a confidence level of 95% obtained of value p = 0.293(p < atau
p < 0,05), which means Ha denied. So that there is no statistically significant
relationship between parenting parents with Personal Hygiene in Public
Elementary school students at Cimancak 1 Bayah.
