SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1.) NASAs budget has been decreasing rapidly over the past 47 years
2.) NASAs only operated with a budget of 17,600 million USD dollar
budget in 2014, only 0.5% of the national budget
3.) There have been numerous bills to increase funding, but have done
little to actually make a difference in NASAs operations
4.) Space Exploration achievements made by NASA increase national
pride in our country's citizens
5.) Many new scientific breakthroughs have been made by NASA, most
recently about new planets which might be able to support life.
6.) Space is full of new, useful raw materials that can help the United
States of America when exploited correctly through NASA
SECTION 2: Purpose
The purpose of this bill is to increase NASAs funding by a large enough amount to
assist with their programmes and create more programmes and scientific
breakthroughs which will assist the United States of America in the long term.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
The United States of Americas government will increase NASAs funding to 2% of its
national budget for the next 20 years.
NASA will have full rights to government assistance when needed and can increase
its own budget if NASA needs more money to continue its programmes.
NASA will have the only legal right to American Space Exploration while private
space exploration and development companies cannot legally compete in the
space market with NASA for the next 20 years
SECTION 4: Definitions
Space Exploration- the ongoing discovery and exploration of celestial

structures in outer space by means of continuously evolving and


growing space technology.
