Thank you to all parents who
were able to help raise funds
for our last classroom
fundraiser. We raised about
$800! This means we will most
likely be able to plan for our
number one choice of Spring
field trip. We will keep you
posted as to the location and
date for anyone interested in
entering our chaperone lottery.

Book Orders
Book orders are going home
today. Orders will be due next
Wednesday in the
communication folder.

AR
Please sign and return your
childs AR Goal Sheet. We will
be taking a new reading
assessment soon to determine
their new AR level which is a
partial indication of how much
reading practice they are
doing at or above their level.

Parent Conferences
I am looking forward to meeting with all of you to discuss your
childs progress in class. Conference schedules are being sent
home today. The oce will have my schedule and is in charge of
making any changes you might need to make. Students will be
dismissed at 1:15 pm everyday during Parent Conference week
from the 14th through the 18th. The After School Program will
continue its regular hours.

Rocket Math
The following students have continually passed their
multiplication quizzes in the program on the first, second, or
third attempt: Jason, Drayez, Jaelynn, Autumn, Eliezer,
Brianna, Joey, Paola, Enrique, Yuliana, Brian, Aydia,
Azusena, Hope, and Tommy! We will be having an iPad party
in the classroom to celebrate their success! Students who did not
meet this goal can try again for our December party. Math fact
strategies and memorization are of critical importance at this age.
Students are to be writing down the level they are on in their
homework planner every day and should not be staying on that
level more than three times, preferably less. Please practice math
facts with your child using their packet or flash cards nightly.
