SIPOC

SIPOC diagram is a tool used to identify all relevant elements of a process and hence
provides the information for the team to do a process improvement or process reengineering. The following elements are considered: i) The Suppliers of the process,
ii) The Inputs to the process, iii) The Process that is under review, iv) The Outputs of
the process and v) The Customers (the 'C') Output.
1.Draw or print the template below for the team to add information into the flow.
2. Begin with the Process. Map it in four to five high level steps.
3. Identify the Outputs of this Process.
4. Identify the Customers that will receive the Outputs of this Process and their requirements
5. Identify the Inputs required for the Process to function properly.
6. Identify the Suppliers of the Inputs that are required by the Process.
7. Review the flow and identify key areas for improvements.
