LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I am privileged to write in support of my dear friend and student, Danny. He worked for me
as my assistant for one year and after that he joined the university as my fellow lecturer.
While working as my assistant, his main responsibility is preparing the laboratory for
teaching process. At first, he had little difficulty for balancing between his responsibility as
lab assistant, college student, and his organizational role. But soon, he can quickly adapt
and finished all of his responsibilities well.
During this time, I witnessed his high sense of responsibility. For example, when the
computers in lab were suddenly down because of virus, he worked overtime without anyone
told him to, just to ensure that every computer is prepared for the next day. Besides his
sense of responsibility, he also showed many valuable qualities. He is smart, humble, able to
control his emotions well, a quick-learner, adaptive, and for those who known him well,
humorous person.
As a lecturer, Danny reveals a good intellectual curiosity, a desire to learn something new,
and the ability to work in group situations under strict guidelines. He has become valuable
member of Information Technology lecturers, and a role model for his newer colleagues.
I recommend Danny to your scholarship program with absolute confidence. He made me
proud, as his teacher and friend, and I am sure he will continue to do so as he grows in your
scholarship program and beyond.
